Try to establish who you're most direct competitors are and take a look at their track record. Like how long they've been around, whether their popularity has increased or dropped. How they've marketed themselves and what the genereal consensus is on their product and service.
Based on your findings, determine what has contributed to their success and which areas they could improve on. What incentive would consumers have to move away from your competitors?
