As anyone who watched "7th Heaven" during its original broadcast run on The WB likely recalls, the show's 10th season was heavily promoted as its final season with a "Countdown to Goodbye" ad campaign which started 11 episodes before the show's finale was supposed to air. As things turned out though, after The WB announced the show's retirement, the network itself announced its merger with UPN, ultimately creating The CW, and programmers of the new combined network chose to renew "7th Heaven" afterall, choosing to cancel its longtime Monday night lead out "Everwood" instead. Here, now, are the promos from the original broadcast of what turned out to be the tenth SEASON finale of "7th Heaven", including the last in a series of five "'7th Heaven' Smile Moments" sponsored by Crest, as well as The WB's traditional "Thank You" sendoff that many of its longer running series received at the end of their respective runs. Although the show did return for an 11th season, this episode still marked the final appearances of the majority of the original Camden kids as Barry Watson, Jessica Biel, and David Gallagher never returned. In an odd move, the show's producers chose to replace them all with a group of desperate orphans with similar characteristics who moved into the house--a plot device that in itself had already been previously exhausted with characters played by Tyler Hoechlin, Adam LaVorgna, and Ashlee Simpson, among others...
