Synopsis:::
The story starts with Binu, a mischievous little boy who goes around troubling every people living in the village but is in great awe of his elder brother. His best friend is Chandra, who also is the local zamindar’s daughter. Trouble hits paradise when Binu and Chandra go to pray at a temple for chandra’s mother’s speedy recovery. Time goes by quickly and they return late which is wrongly interpreted by the illiterate villagers. Binu is forced to leave his home and he wanders about here and there before being discovered by a theatrical troupe, senseless. They turn out to be kind and helpful men and they restore him back to full health. He starts a new life with them and strikes up a strong bond with Shyama who loved her with all her heart like her own brother. On one such day Shyama attempts suicide which shatters Binu, he leaves the troupe and once again becomes a helpless tramp. Finally to earn a living he starts begging in trains. On the other side Chandra’s uncle decides to get Chandra married to his boss’s son, Boren, much to her dismay as she still loved Binu. They all meet again and all problems misunderstandings are thereby solved.
