This is a product review I did of my Tab Performance 50 cal exhaust. I am not sponsored, I don't get any commission, and I didn't get any kind of discount. I paid full price for these. I wanted to do a product review because I truly love the way they look and sound. I hope you get some sort of value out of this video, and I hope it helps you make your decision on what slip ons to get easier.
The audio that you will be using to watch this, whether it be your phone, computer, or TV, just does not do the sound justice. It sounds loud on your device, but trust me, it sounds MUCH better in person. I just love the sound you get when you really get on the throttle, and then also the back pressure sound you get when you let off. I also love how it sounds when you do throttle blips at slow speeds. It almost has a sort of snorting sound. People will definitely hear you before they see you.
In my personal opinion, the Tab Performance slip on with Zombie baffles have a different sound than other slip ons. Some people like the deep rumbling you get with other slip ons, but these have more of a crackling and popping sound. I've heard both, and they both sound good, but personally, the Tab 50 Cal w/Zombie baffles is the perfect sound for me.
Tab Performance offers this slip on for my 22' Street Glide Special with the option of either the Zombie baffles, louvered baffles, or no baffles. I chose to go with the Zombie baffles because they are the loudest.
You can get them in the black or chrome, and you can get the tips in either a slash cut, straight cut, or none (you use your existing tips). I chose to go with the black slash cut. I actually have my tips mounted upside down so the slash cut matches the same angle as my bags. If you mount them right side up, then you can see the TAB Performance logo. If you mount them upside down, you can't see the logo.
