PHX 2020 with Councilman Michael Nowakowski - Construction progress on the South Mountain Freeway

In this segment of Phoenix 2020, Councilman Nowakowski is on location in District 7 at 59th Avenue and I-10 to get an update on construction progress on the South Mountain Freeway. He goes on-site to the site of freeway construction in the area to interview Senior Deputy State Engineer Rob Samour about the freeway construction timeline and plans for the route along 59th Avenue through Laveen and west Phoenix. The highway is expected to be completed by 2019. Work already is underway in west Phoenix and is expected to last through mid-2018 in the area.
