CPEC and Europe | Change In Route Of Power And Economy Is Finally Started | Gwadar CPEC
For the past one and a half hundred years, the world's defense and economic strategy has been based on sea ports and sustainable highways connected to them. Russia's defense line has been its land mass. According to an estimate, its area is six million square miles, in which 75 percent of the area is within the continent of Asia, while the population of this region is only 22 percent of its total population. But its bad luck is that its only effective port is Vladivostok, which is closed for five to six months a year due to severe cold weather and freezing water. Its other ports are now in Ukraine and Moldova. It is in the grip of a border dispute. Going forward, its main source of income is the oil and gas that goes to Europe. One is alternative energy and the other is the discovery of shale gas in the coastal areas, including Makran, and the vast American coast. This gas can be easily liquefied and then transported back to gas. This discovery of shale gas has solved the energy problem for the United States for a hundred years. But it has created a new challenge for the Russian economy. As an alternative, it is left with the ports of Gwadar and Istanbul to send its oil and gas with production to China, India and other Afro-Asian countries through the Indian Ocean. It is where twelve million barrels of oil are spent every day. It is surrounded by rival industrial countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. . Which in itself is an unsafe route. While China's population has increased from one billion and forty million. Its power is getting weaker due to industrial pollution. It is planning to settle in less populated areas like Burma and Balochistan with a population of 78 million. In such a case, it is in dire need of Gwadar port to reduce the dependence on Malaika Strait and to control logistics costs. That is why the CPEC plan was made.
