Aloha! Welcome to our final
Aloha! Welcome to our final Hawaii vlog. Join us today as we take you on a journey along the breathtaking West Maui route, showcasing all the must-visit locations you won't want to miss on your own itinerary. Thanks to Tommy's mom's great planning skills, we were fortunate enough to have a fantastic road trip experience where we just got to sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride!
We started at Makaluapuna Point, also known as Dragon's Teeth, a rock formation shaped by volcanic activity and waves, located in Kapalua near Fleming Beach. We then visited Fleming Beach, a popular spot for swimming and bodysurfing, known for its soft white sand, clear water, lush greenery, and stunning ocean views.
Honalua Bay was a quick stop to watch the surfers and we saw some snorkelers. Next was the Nakalele Blowhole, a natural blowhole formed by waves eroding volcanic rock, accessed via a 1.5-mile hike with breathtaking coastline views.
Finally, we made it to the Olivine Pools, a series of natural tide pools on the West Maui coast, which requires caution due to rogue waves. Though Jackie and I opted not to swim, Tommy and his dad checked it out from a safe distance. Our day ended at Maui Brewing Co for dinner and drinks, a highly recommended spot.
