Maa Mogal is a merciful
Maa Mogal is a merciful fountain of love like a mother who loves her children unconditionally.
The Goddess is often misinterpreted / misunderstood by many people because of her ferocious appearance.
Mogal Maa is worshipped as a Goddess among a huge community called Chaaran Samaj in the Western region of Gujarat. Women of this cast are looked upon as Mother Goddesses by their own community as well as other major communities in that region .
The Chaaran community are known for their high literary sense, deep loyalty towards society, cleverness and unflinching readiness for martyrdom in war.
Bhumik Shah has over the period of 3 years come up with 3 unique Daklas.
A Dakla is a tribal instrument used in folk songs since a long time.
He started re-creating these folk songs with a modern twist to keep the young generations tied to their roots and makes sure the aesthetics and the beauty of it stays intact.
Last year he came up with his Original Version of Dakla called Mahakali Dakla, made from scratch and was highly appreciated by his audience, hence again this year he has come up with one more original dakla version called Mogal Dakla .
This time, Bhumik Shah wants to showcase how such folk Songs are traditionally performed in villages to worship Maa Mogal through this Mogal Dakla, he later fuses the composition with modern music genre called Dubstep , that the youngsters are fond of.
The summary of the song is simply describing the origin of Maa Mogal, her unconditional love and her fierce form to save her children from all Evil.
