Photoshop Brush Delay - how to fix?

Why is there a delay on my Brushes in Photoshop? This has been happening for the past several months, and it drives me crazy, I don't even want to use Paintbrushes anymore as it's so hard to control with the lag. See video. I believe this is a Photoshop issue, not with my Mac. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm on a iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015, 4 GHz Intel Core i7, 32 GB 1867 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon R9 M390 2048 MB)

Using Photshop 20.0.6 CC.
