Shooting a full auto Galil ARM

The Israeli Galil was developed by Yisrael Galili and Yakov Lior in the late 1960s and went into production in 1972. The rifle was originally manufactured by Israeli Military Industries as a replacement to the FN FAL that was being used at the time, and utilized some of the features seen on their adversaries AK-47 rifles during the Six-Day War. This version is the ARM (Automatic Rifle Machine gun) which features a 18.1" barrel and is 38.9" overall with a weight of 9.6 lbs. As you can see in the video, it has an incredibly controllable rate of fire similar to the AK-47 of 650 rounds per minute.

Despite being utilized to this day by 53 countries, it is not as common as one would think to see one in the wild. I was able to see them firsthand throughout Africa in the late 90s and have to say that this is one of my favorite battle rifles.
