3rd Month of Pregnancy - Baby Development

During the third month of pregnancy, the baby's development progresses rapidly. At this stage, the baby is about the size of a plum and measures around 2 to 2.5 inches long. The major organs, such as the kidneys, liver, and lungs, continue to develop, and their basic structures are forming. The baby's face becomes more defined, with features like a well-formed nose, lips, and eyelids. Additionally, the baby's skeletal system starts to take shape, and tiny bones are visible on ultrasound images.
