Gas loaded type Accumulator Working Animation along with the Construction and Working Principle
In a gas loaded hydraulic accumulator, the pressure is accumulated in the form of gas compression. Here the gas compression follows the Boyle's law which state that pressure is inversely proportional to the volume of the gas at constant temperature.
Means; if Gas is Compressed to half of the initial volume then the Pressure becomes doubled.
In a Gas loaded pressure accumulator, the Gas acts similar to the spring in a spring loaded accumulator.
