Walk to Kursunlu waterfall.
About 25 kilometers from Antalya is the Tabiat Nature Reserve with the beautiful Kursunlu waterfall.
According to the assumption of scientists based on information from geology, the waterfall arose quite a long time ago - in the II-III centuries. It appeared as a result of a long process of formation of karst deposits in local rocks. As a result, the tributary of the Aksu - a small mountain river - was divided into several branches, which, falling from low hills, turned into a transparent waterfall.
Its name means "lead", in honor of the many silvery streams that form the waterfall.
The height of the cascade is 18 m. It became available to visitors relatively recently - in 1986.
Kursunlu is a cascade consisting of seven reservoirs of different sizes.
Swimming in the lakes is prohibited, but you can penetrate the space between the stream and the rock, put your hands under the cool jets of water and make a wish - it is believed that it will come true.
The largest number of visitors can be found at the waterfall in summer and early autumn.
The waterfall and the Kursunlu reserve are a single whole. Tourists and locals come to this picturesque place to be in silence, admire the beauties of nature and escape from worldly worries.
The path that wraps around the waterfall can be walked in 30 minutes of pleasant walking.
For the convenience of guests, bridges were prudently built here, paths were laid, a table was set up for picnic lovers, and a small restaurant was also opened.
A coniferous forest spreads around, tree crowns cover the banks with a thick shadow, peace reigns, filled with birdsong, the murmur of jets and the aroma of pine needles.
Comprised of trees such as red pine, laurel, willow and shrubs, the nature park has viewing terraces and playgrounds for visitors.
