Changing my 92-95 Honda Civic Water Pump | Yonaka Exhaust Sounds at end :)
After constantly watching the temp gauge in the civic rise and fall like the sun, I finally figured that the source was a faulty seal on my water pump. After inspecting further, I found the mechanic that assembled my engine used RTV along with the provided gasket to seal the water pump to the block. That is a no no and only lasted for 20K miles before failing. I'm not happy to have a "lesser" quality pump in my car, but as long as it's in working order and doesn't leak then it's AOK by me.
