Otter Jung-Allen is a genderqueer poet and performer raised in West Philadelphia. Their work most often centers transness, celebration for the sake of itself, and the emotion of growth. They are currently an internationally award winning artist, a 2015 Brave New Voices World Champion, the 2015 Liberty Unplugged Champion, the 2016-17 Youth Poet Laureate of Philadelphia, and the founder of the Voices of the East Coast Project.  This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.
