Importance of Internal Auditing to Prevent Fraud

2012 Summer Conference - This presentation will demonstrate the importance of the internal audit function to add value and improve an organization's operation by evaluating and improving the effectiveness of risk management, control and the governance process and help to prevent fraud. The presentation will also lay a foundation for creating a successful internal audit function, through an overview of the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Treadway Commission's "Internal Control - Integrated Framework."
