S D Burman has composed many songs with Kishore Kumar and all of them became superhit. In this video, we will discuss an incident where S.D. Burman believed that Mohammed Rafi would be the ideal singer for a song that was picturized on Dev Anand.
The song was from the film Gambler released in 1971. It was Kishore Kumar who wanted to sing this song desperately but S D Burman thought that this classical-based song was best suited for Rafi Saheb but in the end, it was Kishore Kumar who sang this song and the rest is history. The song was "Dil Aaj Shayar Hai Gum Aaj Nagma Hai"
