$1.65 Lokmas in Istanbul, Turkey 🇹🇷: FionnOnTheRoad Episode 31

Today is a big walking day, and what better way to see a city like Istanbul than getting outside and exploring by foot!

I start off the day in Sultanahmet Square, the Hagia Sophia in front of me, and Sultanahmet behind me, and find a little street corn stand for my first food choice of the day, and at around $1, it’s a hell of a bargain! From there, a walk to the Grand Bazaar, the biggest covered market in the world, home to countless shops of spices, coins, rugs, antiques and practically anything else you can think of.

At this point I’ve had some decent success finding good food, a couple of Doner kebabs to fill me up, but I’ve still got room for dessert, and in this case, it’ll be in the form of some sugar soaked Lokmas, only $1.65 (USD). From here I head down to the water front, try a couple of juices and make my way back to my hostel, which is where I leave off in the video. But don’t worry, next episode I’ll be heading to Cappadocia, by far my favourite stop in Turkey so stay tuned!
