Learn how to build a 2.4 kWp solar tracker and increase your solar energy production. In this video I show you how to build a solar tracker for 2.4 kWp. This installation includes 6 400 Wp solar panels, for a total surface area of 11 m2. The motorization is provided by 3 electric actuators of 600 Nm of power with integrated end-of-stroke sensors. The control box is equipped with wind safety and a sensor for sun tracking.

Here are the advantages of a solar tracker compared to a fixed installation:

Higher energy efficiency:
Solar trackers follow the path of the sun throughout the day, allowing them to capture more sunlight and increase energy efficiency. Depending on the orientation and inclination of the installation, a solar tracker can increase efficiency by 25 to 40% compared to a fixed installation.

More stable energy production:
Solar trackers are able to track variations in the sun's position, helping to maintain more stable energy production throughout the day.

A more flexible installation:
Solar trackers can be installed in a wider variety of terrains than fixed installations.


I started using this solar tracker a week ago and the first results are excellent. I plan to add batteries to increase my autonomy and install a solar router for the water heater.
