What happens when an Australian Bull Ant and European Wasp (Vespula germanica) clash?
This footage was shot in the Kosciuszko National Park of Australia where the European Wasp is a pest, management of it as an introduced species is in progress as it does not have many predators.
I came across this as I was heading back after shooting some macros in the bush, so I had my Canon 60D with 60mm Macro lens + LED camera light on hand.
