How to remove ink stains from upholstery fabric. In this video I show you how to remove ink from a cotton upholstered fabric rug. The ink is not water soluble so I use rubbing alcohol to remove it from the material. The same principle applies if you are removing ink for a sofa, couch, rug, carpet or clothing; always blot it out rather than driving the ink further into the fabric or upholstery.
