Now let's get a few things clear:
There are some products that you cannot sell over the phone or should not sell over the phone while some products you can sell over the phone. Let's clarify some of these products.
Products like car insurance, travel insurance which doesn't require a lot of advice CAN be sold over the phone.
However products like life insurance, retirement planning, education planning, health insurance, critical illness insurance, these are products where you need to sit down with a proper financial advisor and get the RIGHT product. These should not be sold over the phone.
What you need to cover when selling products over the phone:
- Why they actually need it?
- Benefit vs cost of buying the product
- How can they make a claim in the event if there is a loss
Products that can't be sold over the phone which are like life insurance needs proper advice. Advice has to be given face-to-face with a real financial advisor. Spend some time with a real advisor to know which product you need exactly. 🙌🏻
