You'll need: - 1 empty plastic 20 oz (710ml) pop bottle or similar - string or paracord - clothespin - drill - 7/32" drill bit and/or a 5/16" drill bit (step drill) 1. Drill out 3 small holes (no larger than 5/16") about 3" from the bottom 2. Drill out 7/32" hole in bottle cap (for paracord, if using string or twine you can make the hole smaller) 3. Double knot the string/cord so it doesn't pull through 4. Repeat same for the clothespin and double knot the cord after it's put through 5. In summer/fall, fill bottle with a sugary liquid (such as sugar, old fruit, cola, or any sweet drink) approx. 2" from bottom. For extra attraction I also add a spoonful of jam or ripe fruit. In the spring they looking more for protein (I used catfood last year, but trying sardines this year as they apparently like fish). 6. Attach bottle cap and hang where needed We are getting up to 25 dead wasps per day per trap. And haven't caught one honey bee by mistake. Don't have a drill? Burn a small hole in the bottle. MVI 3210
