Steam Turbine

Steam turbine was invented in 1884 by Sir Charles Algernon Parsons. Impulse and Reaction turbine are two main classifications of the Steam Turbines. Working of Impulse and Reaction turbines are explained with the help of Animation and Voice over. Steam Turbines are used in Power Plants where steam generation takes place such as Thermal, Nuclear, Geothermal Power plants.
