Betty Gold and her family escaped from the Nazis, and hid in a cave in the Polish forest. Betty recalls when her family was notified that their hiding place had been discovered, and they would be murdered that night. Betty's family mentally prepared for the roundup, and said their 'goodbyes' to one another. Video from USC Shoah Foundation’s Visual History Archive.
