In 1965, Dinky launched the Fiat 2300 model as a reporting car for the British newsreel "Pathe News". This model was very popular because there was a tripod with a camera and a cameraman on the roof of the Fiat. In addition, this model had an opening rear trunk lid and a lifting hood. It was also possible to fold the rear seats, increasing the cargo space. My model did not have a cameraman or equipment and the car had no tires. The casting itself had a lot of manufacturing damage, related to imperfections in the casting process itself. Based on borrowed parts, I made a cast of the camera with the tripod and the cameraman himself. This allowed me to restore the model to the condition it was sold in.
