Backpacking Old Settlers Trail in Greenbrier (Great Smoky Mountains)

We backpacked 2 days, 1 night with our friends, Angela and Haley for almost 18 miles on Old Settler's Trail in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.  This trail has several creek crossings without bridges.  Some you can rock hop but some you will have to ford. Also, according to others the Maddron Bald trailhead is known for overnight break-ins to cars.  Suggest parking a car at an area business for a small fee.
