Now the reason for this is unknown, but during the course of the series, bears were mentioned or referenced in all 146 episodes of the show. It could have been a bear on the California state flag, a picture of a bear on the fridge, a mention of the Chicago Cubs or even going as far as to have a character called Bearclaw, who was played by Josh Gad.
