One of Europe’s Largest Uncontrolled Landfills Gets a Makeover

This is Europe’s largest unmanaged dump, located just 15 kilometers from the center of Belgrade, Serbia. After absorbing more than 10 million tons of waste over the last four decades, the landfill is closing for remediation.
