And (by) ten nights.”  (Surah Al-Fajr, 89:1–2) Scholars refer to the nights as the ten days of Zulhijjah. In the Quran, when Allah swears by or takes an oath upon something, it signifies the importance of the first 10 days of month of dhul hijjah. Hadith of Prophet Muhammad(SAWS) about The first ten days of Dhu al-Hijjah: Abdullah ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than on these days." They (the Companions) said: "O Messenger of Allah, not even Jihad in the cause of Allah?" He said: "Not even Jihad in the cause of Allah, except that of a man who went to Jihad with himself and his property, but did not return with any of them." Takbir al-Tashreeq is a prayer that is to be recited by pilgrims after every obligatory Salah during Hajj. Starting immediately after Fajr Salah on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah, it is Wajib for Hajj pilgrims to recite Takbir al-Tashreeq at least once after every Salah till Asr Salah of 13th of Dhul Hijjah. Takbir al-Tashreq is the recitation of the following: اللّهُ أكبر اللّهُ أكبر Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah is Great, Allah is Great اللّهُ أكبر Allahu Akbar Allah is Great لا إلَهَ الا اللّه La illaha il Allah there is no God, but Allah اللّهُ أكبر اللّهُ اكبر Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar Allah is Great, Allah is Great و لِلّه الحمدَ walilahil Hamd to Him belongs all Praise اللّهُ أكبرُ كَبيِرَا Allahu Akbaru Kabeera Allah is the Greatest وَالحَمدُ لِلّهِ كَثِيرا wal-Hamdulilahi katheera And all Praise is due to Him وَ سُبحَان اللّهِ wa Subhan allahi And Glory to Allah بُكرَةً وَأصْيِلا bukratan wa asela eventide and in the morning لا إلَهَ الا اللّه La illaha il Allah there is no God, but Allah the Unique “Because the Prophet Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said that atop al-Safa.” The matter is broad in scope, because the command is to say takbeer in general, and the Messenger (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) did not single out any particular format of takbirat. Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning): “and that you must magnify Allâh [i.e. to say Takbîr (Allâhu-Akbar; Allâh is the Most Great) for having guided you.” [Quran Surah Al-Baqarah 2:185](Chapter 2 Ayah/Verse Number 185). So one may follow the Sunnah by saying any format. Another Format: “Allahu akbaru kabira wa alhamdu Lillahi kathira wa subhan Allahi bukratan wa asila, Allahu akbar wa la na‘budu illa Allah mukhlisina lahu al-dina wa law kariha al-kaafirun, la ilaha illa-Allah wahdahu, sadaqa wa‘dah wa nasara ‘abdah wa hazama al-ahzaba wahdah, la ilaha illa-Allah wa Allahu akbar (Allah is most Great, much praise be to Allah and glory be to Allah at the beginning and end of the day. Allah is most Great and we worship none but Allah, and we make our worship purely for Him (Alone) however much the disbelievers may hate that. There is no god but Allah Alone; He fulfilled His promise and granted victory to His slave and defeated the Confederates Alone.
