why your iphone might be getting the "Touch ID Failed" error

on this specific model and version, i was getting touch id failed when i changed to an aftermarket screen. as soon as i got the original lcd fixed, the touch id was back up and running. i'm not saying this 100% why you are getting that issue, but this could definitely be one reason...
