My Breast Cancer Story

Hearing the words "you have breast cancer known as DCIS", it was crazy scary. I was only 26 years old and I just graduated college, went through brain surgery and now I was diagnosed with cancer. Even though these past four years have been so hard on not only myself but my entire family. I wanted to share my breast cancer story because through this journey I started to see that people still think one way and that's cancer happens to older adults. That's not true, cancer affects all ages and so with telling my story, I hope to educate and inspire others.
