The Tolantongo Grottos is an ecotourism park famous for its thermal water pools, in this video we tell you everything you need to know to visit and make the most of it.
* Tolantongo Grottos
They are in the Sierra of the State of Hidalgo, are characterized by having a turquoise water thermal river that for centuries is known as Tolantongo which means, "place where you feel warm".
* How to get to the Tolantongo Caves
-From Mexico City you have to take the road to Pachuca, then turn off towards Actopan and continue towards Ixmiquilpan, then in that town, take the detour to the Tolantongo Caves, but you have to be careful and do not drive at night. The last stretch to the park can be dangerous if there is no light.
* How to get to Tolantongo by plane
The closest airport to Tolantongo is:
Pachuca National Airport (PCA)

* What to do in the Tolantongo Grottos
-There are several recreational activities for the whole family, we recommend you take the following tour:
1.- Relax early in the thermal pools of the Hotel Paraíso Esconido.
2.-Pass the suspension bridge and return through the steam tunnel.
3.-Breakfast in the Paraiso economic kitchen.
4.-Visit the Caves and the second tunnel inside the Tolantongo Waterfall.
5.-Enjoy the afternoon swimming in the thermal river.
6.-Eating snacks at the hotels' inns
7.-Make a bonfire and spend the night watching the stars.
There are also slides, pools and the park has the longest zip line in Hidalgo, however we did not do those activities because we dedicated ourselves to relax and we spent time.
* As tips remember:
-Learn cash, since cards are not accepted in Tolantongo.
-Use aquatic Zapátos inside the Pozas, the Caves and the river.
-Respect the schedules and follow the instructions of the staff.
