European Parliament votes on key laws on climate change

European lawmakers are voting on key draft laws to combat climate change. Eight proposals aim to slash emissions faster this decade. The measures will also keep the European Union on track to meet the 2030 goal of cutting greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 per cent.
