Air fryer Country Style ribs
Air fryer Country Style ribs are so tender and delicious. I cooked these Ninja Foodi country-style ribs for just about 33 minutes on the Air Crisp setting.

You may have to adjust the time for your air fryer since all models work a bit differently. For example, you can make country style ribs in the Power Air Fryer, the Cooks Essentials Air Fryer or the Chefman Air Fryer but the baskets are set up a bit different than the Ninja Foodi.
The benefit of having a Ninja Foodi is that it's an air fryer and pressure cooker in one machine. You can make these country style ribs in the oven as well but they will take a bit longer to cook.

I marinated the Country Style pork loin ribs overnight for maximum flavor. Reserve some of the marinade to use as a glaze near the end of cooking. The hoisin sauce and soy sauce in the marinade makes this similar to a Chinese style ribs recipe. Sometimes I substitute BBQ sauce for the hoisin sauce.
Country ribs are not actually ribs at all. They are different from baby back ribs and spare ribs. Country style are cut from the pork shoulder (these are called Country-style butt ribs) or near the pork shoulder closer to the loun (these are called country style loin ribs)
Country style loin ribs are more tender, similar to a pork chop. These are best for air frying. Country-style butt ribs have more sinew and fat and are tougher than loin ribs. The butt country ribs are better for braising and cooking at a lower temperature for a longer time.
