Kalam Khwaja Ghulam Farid - 66th Birthday of Dr Muhammad Tahir ul Qadri - Mehfil e Sima

On the occasion of the 66th birthday of the MQI founding leader Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, a ‘Sama‘ & prayer’ ceremony was held under the banner of Minhajians on February 19 at the central secretariat. Internationally known Qawwal Mehr Ali and Sher Ali along with their band members gave a wonderful performance.

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Sahibzada Hammad Mustafa Al-Almadni and Sahibzada Ahmad Mustafa Al-Arabi attended the Sama‘ ceremony through video link from Canada. Chairman Supreme Council Dr Hassan Mohi-ud-Din Qadri and President of MQI Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri presided over the programme, whereas Khawaja Ghulam Qutab-ud-Din Faridi, Sahibzada Pir Qamar Sultan, Amir Afzal, Sufi Khaksar, and Pir Akhtar Rasool of JUP-Niazi were the guests of honour on the occasion.

Sahibzada Faiz-ur-Rehman Durrani, Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Mufti Abdul Qayyum Khan Hazarvi, Sayyid Musharraf Shah, Muhammad Naeem Anwar Nomani, Jawad Hamid and other leaders were present on the stage. A large number of men and women from Lahore and surrounding areas attending the Sama‘ and prayer ceremony.
