Javelin missile has the remarkable
Javelin missile has the remarkable ability to effectively neutralize a key Russian strategy for its ground forces, as evidenced by its impressive range of up to 1.5 miles. Because of its passive nature, the tank crew is unable to detect the presence of the Javelin in the vicinity until it is discharged, and, even then, several Russian tanks are unable to discern the missile's approach.

The missile was designed to detonate over the top of a tank's armor, with a special focus on the lightly armored top of the Russian Armata. This tank is heavily armored, with 500 centimeters of plate on its sides and front, but only 30 centimeters on top.

When the Javelin missile detonates atop an enemy tank, it first uses an explosive shape charge to penetrate the tank's armor, followed by the detonation of the missile's main warhead, which is considerably more potent than the initial explosion. This is known as a "tandem charge," and it is particularly effective when it reaches the most vulnerable part of the enemy's armor. #shorts
