Dr. Lim is an associate professor within the Breast Medical Oncology department at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center.
She is currently the principal investigator on five active investigator-initiated or industry sponsored studies focused primarily in the triple-negative (TNBC) and inflammatory breast cancer (IBC) patient populations.
She hopes to reverse continued occurrence of resistance to therapy in metastatic breast cancer. Her translational strategy centers on apoptotic pathways within aggressive Triple Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) and Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC), with robust blood and tissue based markers that can identify patients who will benefit from specific therapy.
