Here's a commercial for Weebles
Here's a commercial for Weebles Tree House from Romper Room, with two kids demonstrating how it works including pails that move the dolls up to the top, and hideouts if company comes (they wobble but never fall down).
Personally, I preferred the Weebles Haunted House. :-)
