The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor guide showing where to quickly use BD-1 to investigate a target in the distance near the start of Chapter 1 - Alone needed for the Reconnaissance achievement & trophy.
During the main quest Alone in Chapter 1, you can start using BD-1 to view and scan targets from a distance. Shortly after encountering 2 battle droids talking with a raider grunt, you will come to a large opening. Activate BD-1 (D-Pad Down and R3) and look to the left across the wide gap. Zoom in (RT/R2) and scan one of the battle droids or view their entry (Menu) to unlock the Reconnaissance achievement/trophy.
