Somali weddings are rich in tradition and cultural significance, and the reception is a central part of the celebration. Abdurahman and Amal were accompanied by traditional Somali music and dancing, with family and friends celebrating their union.
The bride and groom  wear traditional Somali garments for their wedding reception. This may include elegant Somali dresses for the bride, known as "guntiino," and formal attire such as "macawiis" for the groom.

Reception was with lavish feasts and abundance of delicious food. Traditional Somali dishes such as "sambusa," "hilib ari," "bariis," and "canjeero" are commonly served to guests.

Music and dancing are integral parts of Somali wedding receptions. Guests  perform traditional dances such as the "dhaanto" and "buraanbur," accompanied by lively Somali music.  In this wedding ceremony took place during the reception. The bride's hands and feet are adorned with intricate henna designs, symbolizing beauty, prosperity, and good luck in her marriage.

This Somali wedding reception  characterized by a joyous and celebratory atmosphere, with guests coming together to share in the happiness of the newlyweds and celebrate the union of two families.

The Reception was vibrant,  filled with cultural traditions, delicious food, lively music, and heartfelt celebrations of love and unity.
