After Ramana Maharshi's passing, Self Enquiry (asking "Who am I?")—incidentally not Bhagavan's first choice of teaching—has sometimes been taken as a mechanical practice or mantra. But the investigation must be real and alive, not merely a repetitive phrase. The understanding that flows from a genuine investigation leads to the truth itself, which is the same for all.

Plan A: Tatvamasi (You are [already] That.)
Plan B: Self enquiry

0:00 Method vs direct transmission
