Do you have trouble eye-balling your screen placement on your t-shirt or other items?  Grab a package of Avery Color Coding Labels and watch the techniques I use to line up my screen perfectly each time.

First determine how far from the collar of your shirt that you want your design to start. In this example, I wanted the design to start 1 inch below the collar.  This is a toddler size shirt. For adult shirts, I typically want 2-3 inches between the collar and the start of the design.  This may vary for you depending on the size of your design.

In your design program, add a .75" circle centered 1-inch (or whatever spacing you decide) above your design. Cut your design including the circle on Oracal 651.  Don't forget to mirror the design when you cut.

Weed the design and apply it to the back of your screen.  It's helpful to center the design on your screen.

Using the circle as your guide, line up the screen.  This circle guide will ensure the right spacing from the collar but you will need to adjust your screen to level horizontally.

Cover the circle on the screen before squeegeeing your ink with painters tape.

After you squeegee the ink, lift your screen and remove the tape over the circle.  Use the circle again to line up your next item. Repeat this process as many times as needed!
