We start at the beginning
We start at the beginning of Ibrahim Khalil Road (ابراهيم الخليل) where the taxi rank and bus stands are. This is just behind the closest hotel to Masjid ul Haraam, Dar Al Tawhid Intercontinental (5 star) (https://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/dar-....

All of the hotels behind Dar Al Tawhid are new and built in the last few years and the small road behind the hotels is called Jabal Omar so all of these three hotels are known as;
- Hilton Suites (5 star)

There is still some construction ongoing next to Jabal Omar Conrad where new hotels are being built.

Further down the road we come behind the Clock Tower where the main traffic going into and out of the Haraam are, which is a pedestrianised walkway where some restaurants are and also where Hotel Elaf Kinda (https://www.booking.com/hotel/sa/ilaf...) is located. This area can get particularly busy during salah times as it creates a bottle-neck traffic and the authorities close this walkway for safety reason during busier periods.

As we walk further down we get closer to all of the cheaper restaurants where they sell Pakistani and Bangladeshi cuisines - these restaurants are mostly found in the alleyways - these are shown in the video.
At the middle of the road is a hotel which I would recommend as it is good value for money but would not recommend for elderly or families with children as the walk can be 15 minutes each way to the haram, see my below video for the full walk from the hotel:

Further down (not shown in video) is a junction that leads to the poorer neighbourhood of Misfalah, this is an area that has a lot of cheap restaurants and hotels where the some hujjaj stay.
