Description* Jack Halberstam and Jane Bennett will write up, call in, thrum to the poetry of wildness and meet in a vibratory encounter designed not to explain or judge but to dilate, to influence, and to disorder. We will speak of desire and non-human worlds. We will shift our two books, Wild Things: The Disorder of Desire and Influx and Efflux: Writing Up with Walt Whitman into each other’s orbits and let shapes of a conversation emerge. Attending to process, luxuriating in profusion, we will seek multitudes and migrations and we will not force them into coherence or congruence.
