In this episode, I’m going to try out the much debated UNI FILTER. Some say it works, some say it doesn’t. Let test it out and see how we go…

If you have watched my previous video (DUSTING Pt.1) you will be aware that my Toyota Landcruiser 200 series, along with many others is susceptible to dust ingress through the factory air box.
I have previously tried other methods to reduce this, however as evident today, this hasn’t been 100% successful. My next step is to try out a UNI FILTER. These are oiled air filters, similar to filters used in off-road motorcycles, that attempt to seal the box and provide superior filtration over the started paper filter.
I travelled about 8000km with the UNI FILTER installed and speak of my results and future plans in relation to the potential use of the filter down the track.
