*ISOLATED MOTORS* West Midlands Railway Class 323 EMU 323 201

Here is 323201 (with another 323 at the rear) operating a service from Bromsgrove to Lichfield Trent Valley and filmed from Sutton Coldfield to Shenstone. The traction motors on this 323 were isolated meaning that the rear unit is providing all of the tractive effort. This means that 323201 is very quiet with only track joints/running sounds audible. I have never filmed on a 323 with isolated motors so this was a nice find!
