A DAY IN GERMANY'S ROMANTIC & PICTURESQUE BLACK FOREST// Happy Friday lovely people, Today we're sharing our amazing day in the Black Forest in Southwest Germany. The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) is one of the most beautiful, romantic and picturesque regions in Germany and you can't help but fall in love with this place. Famous for its Black Forest Gateau, cuckoo clocks but so much more like quaint towns and villages, gorgeous houses, scenic walks and overall a landscape that takes your breath away.
We visited the Vogtsbauernhof, an open air museum with stunning farmhouses that show how people used to live in the Black Forest. It's a must see!
After that we visited Schiltach which is only a 15 minute drive from Vogtsbauernhof in Gutach. Walking around Schiltach, you feel as if time stood still. The half-timbered houses in the historical old town are breathtakingly beautiful and having some Black Forest Gateau at Café Bachbeck there was the icing on the cake.
