But James McAvoy showed his softer side on Sunday, as the X-Men star treated his sister Joy to a night out at the BAFTA Scotland Awards, held in Glasgow. Cutting a dapper figure as he arrived on the red carpet, the 37-year-old actor eschewed inviting a romantic interest - instead taking his glamorous sibling along to the event.
