Official Behind the Scenes Material of Test Shooting "Bavarian Virtual Production" Project. "Die Zwerge" by Markus Heitz The “BaViPro” (Bavaria Virtual Production) research project partners, ARRI, Bavaria Studios, and Eyeline Studios, together with creative partner Rat Pack Filmproduktion are pleased to present the final footage from their successful pilot shoot. Forming part of the successful conclusion of the two-year project, the shoot, based on “Die Zwerge” (The Dwarves), a series of novels by Markus Heitz, took place on an LED stage constructed at Bavaria Studios Geiselgasteig / Munich, Germany. During the two-day pilot production, director Sebastian Niemann and cinematographer Gerhard Schirlo, together with their team, tested the technologies developed by the three Bavarian companies to improve the film production process through innovative digital technologies. The BaViPro research project was supported by the Bavarian State Ministry for Digital Affairs.
